Bernie Mac’s widow sues his physician

ber1 Los Angeles, Aug 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Wife of the late Bernie Mac has filed a lawsuit against the comedian’s physician for failing to properly diagnose and treat the comedian. It ought to be mentioned that Bernie was suffering from heart complications that eventually led to his death 2 years ago.

Mac was very famous for his role in “Ocean’s Eleven” and he died after suffering from pneumonia in August 2008.

Rhonda McCullough, who is the widow of the late star, sued Rene M. Earles last week for overlooking signs of breathing difficulties when her husband visited the doctor on the 17th of July 2008, which eventually caused his death.

The lawsuit argued that had the star been detained and properly examined at the hospital, then he would have been saved. According to the court documents, “(Earles) failed to recognize and act upon abnormal vital signs and signs of respiratory failure.”

Bernie Mac’s widow has accused the medic of failing to recognize ‘the seriousness of his symptoms’ in the weeks leading up to his death from heart failure in 2008.

In his defense the doctor however claims that he urged the star to check into hospital after seeing his appearance and learning of his pneumonia diagnosis.
