Bengali model to sizzle in item number a la ‘Munni’ (With Images)
June 8th, 2011 - 4:44 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 8 (IANS) Bengali model-actress Nilaanjana Bhattacharya is all set to jazz up Telugu film “Duniya” with her sensuous moves in a sizzling item number inspired by Bollywood chartbuster “Munni badnaam hui”, which featured Malaika Arora Khan.
Nilaanjana is expected to be seen in a steamy avatar in the song, which has been shot in the setting of a dhaba - just the way “Munni badnaam hui” was shot in a rural setting.
“This is my first item number and I am very excited about it. Like ‘Munni badnam hui…’, it’s a fantastic song, very naughty and rustic,” Nilaanjana said in a press statement.
In fact, even Nilaanjana’s look in the song is quite similar to Malaika’s look in “Munni…” - she too has worn a lehenga with a short choli, which has multiple beaded strings attached to it.
“Duniya” was originally made in Kannada and was a hit. Now the Telugu version is being helmed by debutant director L.K. Rao.
