Ben Harper Files for Divorce from Laura Dern

Oct 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to a report from RadarOnline.com, singer/songwriter/musician Ben Harper has filed for divorce from Laura Dern, citing irreconcilable differences. The two have been married for five years, and Dern’s representatives had no information or comment on the news. Harper’s rep apparently did not give a statement to the online tabloid either.
The story was quite surprising since Harper, Dern and their two children have just returned from a trip to Hawaii, where they attended the wedding of a close friend, Eddie Vedder, frontman for Pearl Jam, and Jill McCormick, who were wed on September 18.
The couple seemed very happy at the festivities in Honolulu, where other celebrities such as Jack Johnson and Sean Penn were in attendance.
