Los Angeles, July 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) ‘Enlightened’ actress Laura Dern has filed divorce papers for separation from her husband Ben Harper. The two had gotten married 7 years ago, in 2005.

It may be recalled that Ben Harper and Laura Dern had filed for divorce nearly 24 months ago, but they didn’t make it official. They decided to give their marriage a second chance.

However it seems that the second chance didn’t work out, because the divorce papers are back on. Despite the divorce papers being filed, things looked rosy for the couple when they attended the HBO party at the Beverly Hilton, after Laura won an award for the Best Actress in a Television Musical/Comedy. Onlookers at the party were surprised to see them together and they thought that the couple was back on. However the togetherness was short-lived, as later Laura filed the divorce papers again.

According to the papers filed in court, Laura wants the physical and joint legal custody of their two children – 10 years old Ellery and 7 years old Jaya. Apart from this, she also wants other benefits, which primarily include child support, spousal support and she also wants her legal fees to be paid by Ben Harper.
