Ben Flajnik is the new ‘Bachelor’
August 25th, 2011 - 7:55 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Aug 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Ben Flajnik has been handed the title role of the next season of the show “Bachelor.” Flajnik was a contestant on the just ended Bachelorette show. At the finale, Flajnik’s proposal to Ashley Herbert was turned down.
Entertainment Weekly reports that its sources inside the show has confirmed that Flajnik has been chosen to be the next Bachelor. The 28-year-old winemaker reportedly met star Jennifer Love-Hewitt after the actress indicated after the final episode of the show that she like Flajnik.
Meanwhile, Ashley seems to have moved on and is currently staying with JP Rosenbaum in his new apartment in New York.
Speaking about her real life outside of the show, Ashley said that, “I’m really excited to first of all, just be with him, because obviously we’ve been separate for a while. I have no hesitation about moving in. I definitely don’t have any anxiety about it. I think we’re ready for that, and I don’t have a lot of shoes — luckily. He cleaned out a closet for me. Isn’t that sweet?!”
Ashley rejected the proposal of Flajnik on the finale of the Bachelorette show.
The next season of the Bachelor show will start airing in January 2012.
