Bejoy Nambiar’s next will be gangster-comedy
June 21st, 2011 - 9:31 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, June 21 (IANS) “Shaitan” director Bejoy Nambiar is moving on to his next film, which he describes as a gangster-coming-of-age-comedy.
“I guess you can’t take me too far away from my preoccupations as a filmmaker. But it’s a different territory this time,” he said.
Nambiar’s chosen title for his second film “Michael” has been taken away by another film starring Naseeruddin Shah.
“I’d have fought tooth and nail for it. But it’s been taken by my ‘Shaitan’ producer Anurag Kashyap’s production. You can’t fight family. So my struggle for a title begins again,” he said.
