Beckinsale, a careful mother
July 26th, 2012 - 8:55 am ICT by IANSLos Angeles, July 26 (IANS)Actress Kate Beckinsale says she is careful about the roles she chooses because she has a teenager daughter.
“Well, I haven’t done an awful lot of nude scenes. And I’ve been somebody who has had a child for a very long time. Most of my peers don’t have a 13-year-old,” Beckinsale, who has a daughter Lily, told Allure magazine, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The 38-year-old also says she feels she has become a lot more embarrassing to her daughter but tries to gives her enough space.
“She’s become a teenager so all of a sudden I became a whole lot more embarrassing than I’d ever been in the past,” she said.
“I do have a tendency to be that sort of awful mother who thinks she’s really hip so right now I have to give her space and realise that as far as she’s concerned, I am really not cool,” she added.
