Beatles would have failed X Factor auditions, says Simon Cowell
September 10th, 2009 - 4:59 pm ICT by ANILondon, Sept 10 (ANI): Celebrity judge Simon Cowell says he would have flunked The Beatles if they auditioned for The X Factor.
Cowell says he could only be game for the Fab Four if they were Beatles minus drummer Ringo Starr.
He was speaking in a US telly interview with his fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, 38.
The Daily Star quoted him as saying in an American telly interview: “No, we would have said: ‘We’ll take those three but probably lose the drummer.’
“Ringo, I’m afraid, we would have said is ‘bad news’.” (ANI)
