‘Batman Live’ stage show around the corner
April 27th, 2010 - 12:59 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Apr 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A ‘Batman Live’ stage show is around the corner. Warner Bros. and DC Comics are collaborating together to develop a ‘Batman Live’ stage show. And the USP of the show would be that it is not a musical and neither a theatrical production. And on the contrary it is a stage show, that is specially made for the children and their families too.
The makers of “Batman: Mask of the Phantasm” and “Justice League: The New Frontier” - Alan Burnett and Stan Berkowitz are making the story and the script of the show. Even though the story line is a deeply guarded secret, yet it has been learnt that the Batman show would boast of a lineup of many villains. The schedule date of the stage show hasn’t been decided as yet, but some reports do say that the show would make its debut in 2012, whereas some other reports say that the show would open the very next year itself.
This is not the first time that a show has been made on a superhero. Prior to this, a show was made on Superman too. The Broadway show on Superman made its debut on 1966, but it was pulled down in some months.
