Batman Christian Bale was in Aurora town visiting the shooting victims
July 25th, 2012 - 7:27 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattAurora, July 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Batman Christian Bale paid a visit to all the shooting victims who were injured in the Batman premiere when a gunman opened fire. He visited the Medical Center of Aurora to meet up with his injured fans.
In all, around 60 people were injured when the gunman opened fire and out of those 60, around one-third were admitted in the Aurora Medical Center. Some of the injured are in a critical condition.
After visiting them, Christian also posted pictures of his visit on the popular microblogging and social networking site Twitter. One of the pictures had the caption - “ChristianBale meeting with #Aurora #theatershooting victim Carey Rottman.”
Another tweet stated that, “What a surprise! 19 Swedish staff members met actor Christian Bale today @ TMCA! More details soon.”
Bale’s publicist released a statement after the massacre that, “Words cannot express the horror that I feel. I cannot begin to truly understand the pain and grief of the victims and their loved ones, but my heart goes out to them.”
Bale’s costar in the film Anne Hathaway, said that, “My heart aches and breaks for the lives taken and altered by this unfathomably senseless act. I am at a loss for words how to express my sorrow.”
