The film which had been planned for long has finally been taken by Paramount Pictures and is all set to start with its filming from this spring itself. The forthcoming comic action is basically a road-trip comedy.

Seth Rogen who is scheduled to play the role of an inventor in the film invites his mother to be played by Barbra Streisand for a cross-country road trip. It is in the course of this journey that all the comic elements come out evoking laughter as he tries to sell his new product and also re-unites the mother with a lost love! Now that sounds real interesting. The project has become the latest buzz of the town for it will be directed by none other than Anne Fletcher who is famous for having made some of the best comic flicks including “The Proposal” and “27 Dresses”. According to sources, the script for the soon to be shot comedy will be written by Dan Fogelman who is a renowned name with Disney movies like “Bolt”, “Cars” and “Tangled”.

A source reports that the project had been in line for the last couple of years. Both Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogen were offered the roles last summer. Although the actors had at once expressed their willingness to work in the project but had to wait for some time since it was not getting a green signal. While Seth Rogen at present is reigning high with the box office hit “Green Hornet”, Barbra Streisand was seen some time back in “Little Fockers”.
