Barbara Walters’ life story on TV
July 14th, 2010 - 7:39 pm ICT by IANSLos Angeles, July 14 (IANS) American broadcast journalist Barbara Walters is in negotiations to bring her life story on the small screen.
TV executives at HBO are in talks with Walters, who underwent a heart surgery in May, to adapt her best-selling memoir “Audition” into a TV movie.
Her representative Cindi Berger has confirmed it saying, there is “a lot of interest” to develop the biopic, but declined to discuss which networks had made serious offers, reports imdb.com.
Walters returned to her hit ABC network show “The View” Monday through video link to assure fans she is “fully recovered” from the surgery.
