Aug 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The veteran music director and singer Bappi Lahiri performed with DJ Akhil Talreja on Dubai week at Mirchi Night Club, at Ramee Royal. The crowd tapped their feet on his beats and loved his performance a lot. Bappi Lahiri is among the legendary performers of Indian music industry and he is known as the father of Disco in Indian music genre. Last weekend both Bappi Lahiri and DJ Akhil Talreja made the crowd dance to their tunes.

Bappi Lahiri set the set on stage on disc on fire when he sang his hit singles remixed by DJ Akhil Talreja. The crowd cheered for the singer as they loved his songs and enjoyed it to its fullest. The singer then made appearance on the stage and set the stage ablaze with his compositions, some of which were remixed by DJ Akhil Talreja. Later his son Bappa Lahiri also joined him on stage. The crowd cheered for the singer and asked for more and the singer obliged their wish with a smile on his face. Bappi Lahiri sang some of his classic singles like “Tamma Tamma”, “Tujhe zarurat mere jaise”, “Naacho chamaa”, to name a few. Eye witnesses said that the singer with his melodious songs seemed to have brought back the charm of 1980s to Dubai. The modern touch by DJ Akhil Talreja satiated the demand of the younger generations as well.

Bappi Lahiri and DJ Akhil Talreja made the night memorable for the crowd of Dubai last weekend. The duo also visited some of the African pubs in Dubai where they enjoyed the live performances by other bands. Bappi Lahiri seems to have his hands full of activities as the singer is all set to make a guest appearance in Sony Television’s “Baat Hamari Pakki Hai”.
