August 2nd, 2010 - 10:15 pm ICT by Sampurn WireAugust 2, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The Kannada motion picture industry was up in arms against the reckless outlook of the Reliance Big 92.7 FM radio station. They subsequently announced the bandh this Saturday so as to close down all actions on August 2.
However, in the noon time of Sunday they decided to call off the bandh after they received the apologies and assurances from the major officials from Big 92.7 FM.
For making repugnant and absolutely offensive programmes, all based on the Kannada film industry in “Sakkath Chatri’ the Big 92.7 FM did cast a mistaken spell on the whole industry and thus later were forced to pay the penalty.
KFI bandh was announced by KFCC President this Saturday that followed a very busy and hectic meeting that went up to till 1 am in the morning.
Prashanth Sambargi mediated from the Reliance Big 92.7 FM and concluded the issue peacefully. KFCC President Basanthkumar Patil called off the bandh to be “scheduled’ on Monday.
