Balabhaskar to make acting debut
April 22nd, 2010 - 4:56 pm ICT by Sampurn WireApril 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Music director Balabhaskar is going to star in a movie soon. He will be playing a role in Pattinte Palazhi, opposite Meera Jasmine, thus marking his film debut.
His role will be that of Sreehari, a close friend of Meera Jasmine’s character in the movie. The film is in its final stages of production at present and Balabhaskar will be required to shoot only for a week. The musician has earlier come onscreen for the music videos from his album.
The music of the film, however, hasn’t been scored by Balabhaskar. Debutant music director Suresh Manimala has composed the music. The songs are out and are already a hit with the audience.
Balabhaskar, who was the youngest music composer in the Malayalam film industry, has some brilliant compositions in Mangalyapallakku, Moksham and Kannadikkadavathu.
