The war-ravaged capital will be treated to a feast of Arabic and Iranian films after a long spell of cinematic drought.

According to Iraqi helmer Dr. Abdul Basit Salman, the fest will feature films mainly from Egypt, Jordan and Iran.

He said that Egypt plans to send 27 films, most of which were shorts made by students at the High Institution for Cinema, and some features from private production houses.

The festival will start from December 16 and will go on till the 19th of the same month. (ANI)
