Nov 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Oprah Winfrey invited the Backstreet Boys on her show’s ‘Teenage Idol’ special. The boy band surprised two superfans who were coming down to Chicago for some work. Oprah Winfrey arranged for the band to greet the fans when they landed from the plane and considering that they were die-hard Backstreet Boys fans, the reaction was imaginable.

The Backstreet Boys also appeared on the show and spoke about their upcoming tour with New Kids On The Block. Kevin from Backstreet Boys received much attention as he had walked out of the group in 2006 and focused on other things in life that included an acting career. He said that when the call came for the Oprah Winfrey show, he had to come out of retirement. The members of the group also said that the tour dates will be available soon on the official Oprah website. The 5 member group also performed their hit number ‘I Want It That Way’ and Oprah Winfrey herself was seen mouthing the words.

The dates of the NKOTBSB tour (New Kids On The Block- Backstreet Boys) are yet to be announced but considering that all the five original members of the group will be seen together, the shows are highly anticipated by the fans. In the official websites the Backstreet Boys have also given an interesting interview where the members spoke about their journey to the top of the pop world. They also revealed some interesting details about their personal life and their experiences as a boy band on tours. They also spoke about their first gig in 1993 and said that they were happy to have come so far in their career.
