It’s raining babies in show-business of late, and the latest to join the club of would-be ‘yummy-Mummies’ is the glamorous host of the ever so popular hit T.V series Big Brother, CBS’ very own, Julie Chen.

Married in December 2004 to CBS President Les Moonves, Chen has been associated with other CBS ventures as well, including playing co-host in The Early Show. The happy couple are expecting their little bundle of joy to come along in October, hopefully after the newly premiered season of Big Brother 11 wraps up. In fact, in the very first episode, that premiered yesterday, Chen seems to have already put on some weight, raising speculations as to how soon the mommy-curves would begin to show.

Recently, Chen appeared on The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson, to promote the new season of Big Brother 11, where she announced that the couple knew the gender of their baby. The gushing mother-to-be revealed that her husband and she were expecting a bouncy, baby boy.

Meanwhile, thanks to the news of Chen’s pregnancy having generated additional interest in the show, the audience evidently, will now be following the show closely to observe changes in the expectant, celebrity host. While the show involves systematic elimination of guests who effectively get evicted from the show, the ouster is followed by an exit interview that is conducted by Chen. But what of course remains to be seen, is whether or not the curiosity about the progressively rounding host overwhelms the genuine love for this otherwise extremely popular, summer reality show.
