Los Angeles, May 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Axl Rose has sued his former manager for a sum of $5 million. He alleges that his former manager – Irving Azoff tried to sabotage his career. And apparently this is the latest in the ongoing battle between Axl Rose and Irving Azoff. It ought to be mentioned here that in March, Irving had filed a suit against Axl and he had alleged that Axl had not paid him the agreed-upon percentage of the tour profits.

And then Axl didn’t take things lying down, and he has now filed a counter-suit. He says in the lawsuit that, Irving had “abandoned Guns N’ Roses on the eve of a major tour, filing suit for commissions he didn’t earn and had no right to receive”. He also added that the manager had not done his best to promote their album, which was called ‘Chinese Democracy’ which was released in 2008. Axl was miffed with the non-success of the album, as it was a project that was very close to his heart, and the album had taken 14 long years to be ready. In this album, Axl had collaborated with other musicians as well, so he was heartbroken when his labor of 14 years, failed to make it to the top of the charts.
