Avril Lavigne files for divorce from Deryck Whibley
October 15th, 2009 - 12:16 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )Washington, Oct 15 (ANI): Avril Lavigne has filed for divorce in Los Angeles in an attempt to dissolve her three-year marriage to estranged husband Deryck Whibley, Los Angeles court documents show.
The Canadian punk pop princess, 24, has also asked the court to deny spousal support to Whibley, according to reports.
People reported that Lavigne cited irreconcilable differences and said that their property rights are to be determined, according to the Superior Court papers filed.
Lavigne and the 29-year-old musician for Sum 41 were married for three years. They announced their separation last month. (ANI)
