Dec. 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) James Owen Sullivan, the young and energetic drummer of the “Avenged Sevenfold” band will not be performing in any New Year gig. He had bid his last adieu to the world, when only three days were left to welcome the New Year 2010. Though it is shocking, it is true that 28 year old drummer of the “Avenged Sevenfold” band had passed away at his home in Huntington Beach on December 28, 2009.

The death of the drummer James Owen Sullivan has shocked his fans and they are curious to know the cause that claimed the life of the drummer at such young age. As per the latest reports regarding the death of the drummer, who was better known by his stage name, The Reverend Tholomew Plague or The Rev, there was no foul play involved in his death and he has died of natural causes. Though the reports related to the death of the drummer clearly stated that the drummer had died of natural causes, many people claimed that the drummer was addicted to drug and even speculated that drug addiction has led to the death of the drummer.

Whatever be the reason of James Owen Sullivan’s death, it is quite unfortunate for the music world to lose a talent like him. The fellow members of the band “Avenged Sevenfold” were upset after learning the news of his death. However, none of them have made any comment on his death. James Owen Sullivan used to be the drummer as well as a back-up vocalist of the band and his untimely death has shocked the band.
