Apr 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Very few films manage to create a sensation worldwide and set records at the box office like the latest James Cameron flick ‘Avatar’ did. The movie which was released worldwide in both regular and 3D version set a trend among the Hollywood filmmakers to make 3D films. Its top notch special effects and CGI won the heart of the viewers. Hence, when the news of a sequel to the film was announced by the director himself a few weeks back the viewers who saw the movie became quite excited. Notwithstanding the fact that the movie did not fare too well at the 2010 Academy awards, the fans of ‘Avatar’ are waiting eagerly for the sequel.

The director who usually prefers to keep his upcoming films covered under a cloak of secrecy has given a hint of what the viewers can expect to see in the sequel to Avatar. The first film explored the landscape of Pandora in details and also showed a fair amount of the flora and fauna in the alien planet along with its creatures. The director recently said in an interview that the sequel to ‘Avatar’ will explore the Oceans and Marine life in Pandora. The Oceans of the planet are likely to be as colorful and alluring as the forest of the planet.

The sequel to ‘Avatar’ will feature the human like creatures called the Na’vis and will also showcase other creatures of the planet including the marine animals and plants. The expectation from the sequel to ‘Avatar’ will be sky high, given the stupendous success the first film managed to achieve.
