‘Avatar’ named most pirated film of 2010
December 23rd, 2010 - 12:24 am ICT by IANSLondon, Dec 22 (IANS) Hollywood blockbuster “Avatar” has been named the most pirated film of 2010 by TorrentFreak.com.James Cameron’s sci-fi epic, the most successful film of all time with gross takings of $2.7 billion, was downloaded illegally 16.6 million times.
“Kick-Ass” was second with 11.4 million downloads and Leonardo DiCaprio’s films “Inception” and “Shutter Island” were third and fourth respectively.
