Autopsy reveals that Slipknot bassist Paul Gray died due to drug overdose

Jun 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Paul Gray, 38, the bassist for the band Slipknot died of accidental dosage of morphine and fentanyl. This was revealed according to the autopsy report, which was issued on Monday.
It ought to be mentioned that Paul Gray was found dead in his hotel room on the 25th of May. A hotel worker found him dead and called 911. A needle and some pills were found in his room. The autopsy also found signs of heart disease.
Police say they do not have any evidence suggesting that the drugs were prescribed for the bassist. Police say they have not ruled out charges. Investigation is continuing into the death of Gray. However the police do not currently know what the charges are going to be.
Slipknot, the band Gray featured for did not readily make any comments about the autopsy findings and they promised to put a statement on their website. His wife - Brenna Gray, survives him. She has not made any comments on the death of her husband.
Paul Gray was a founding member of the Slipknot band. The album sold more than 2 million copies of its maiden album, and the group won a Grammy award in 2006.
