Austin Powers’ Shaguar up for grabs on eBay
June 21st, 2010 - 2:21 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, June 21 (ANI): The iconic Jaguar E-Type car used in the Austin Powers movie series is now up for grabs on eBay.
The Union Jack-clad Jaguar E-Type, known as the Shaguar, was used as the promotional vehicle for the first instalment of the movie series, “International Man of Mystery” (1999), the Age reported.
The painted British flag on the car is what stands out most, and it had taken more than 400 man-hours to give it the perfect finish.
Under the bonnet of the car is the original 4.2-litre six-cylinder engine mated to a manual gearbox, with the numbers all matching.
The interior has been given a custom re-trim in blue and red with white piping, and the handmade convertible top has been trimmed in a standout red trim.
The car is based in Pennsylvania, and is currently up for auction on eBay with a buy it now price of 59,900 dollars, which will end in 2 days time. (ANI)
