Audrina Patridge to Produce Star in VH1 Reality Series
October 27th, 2010 - 11:30 pm ICT by Angela Kaye MasonOct 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Getting eliminated by ‘Dancing With the Stars’ has not slowed Audrina Patridge down one bit. She has already moved on, and landed a deal with VH1 to produce and star in a new reality show.
According to the ‘Hollywood Reporter’ the show is set to start filming at the beginning of 2011, and will feature Audrina and her family, as she launches her acting career and they “navigate through celebrity and Hollywood.”
The reality star can hardly wait. “I am thrilled to be working with VH. I can’t wait to begin filming and introduce the world to my amazing family,” she beamed.
The show has been in the planning stage for quite some time. “The show with Mark Burnett got picked up by VH1 so the journey continues! she stated. It’s a reality show about me and my family. Everything that people have wondered about me, they’ll now get to see! And I hope [my partner] Tony [Dovolani] will be on it! I’d love to make some trips to New York to see him because we are such good friends now!”
The former ‘Hills’ star is not worried about being removed from DWTS. “There’s nothing I can really say. It was meant to be, I guess. I’ve learned a lot about myself. I’ve found a new confidence. Since I’m not on ‘The Hills’ anymore, I kind of get to get in touch with myself and what I want to do and make my own decisions. I feel like I’m just maturing more and more. There are so many things going around in my head right now.”
