Audrina Patridge lands her own VH1 reality series
October 27th, 2010 - 11:15 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Oct 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) After being eliminated recently from the “Dancing With the Stars” reality show, Audrina Patridge has landed herself a fresh role.
The star has reportedly signed a deal with VH1 to feature in an upcoming reality show. The show has not yet been named. And what is more is that Patridge has been given the chance to produce the show as well. Patridge with Mark Burnett of “Survivor” fame developed the series last year.
The filming of the new reality show is set to commence next year. The show comes in the wake if VH1’s sister channel, MTV’s “The City” show after just two seasons.
Partridge featured on The City’s predecessor show “The Hills”.
Hope the new series works out because the bar to reality shows has been raised. The challenge that the new show faces is enormous as more and more shows are falling by the roadside daily.
It may be recalled that Audrina was eliminated from the “Dancing With the Stars” show on Tuesday and her elimination was a shock to many viewers considering she performed very well throughout the show. However it is great to know that she has her hands full with another project.
