July 29, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): In recent news from the Kannada movie industry, challenging star Darshan released the audio of the film Modhala Sala.

The movie is produced under the banner of Karnataka Talkies and is directed by Purushoththam. Modhala Sala is Purushoththam’s debut film.

The audio of the film is from Swasthik Audio. The company previously had released the audio album of Maththe Mungaru, a movie that was produced by E. Krishnappa and directed by Dwarki Raghava.

Actors Yesh and Bhama are paired in Modhala Sala for which the whole shooting has been finished. The highlight of the ceremony was that the whole group of Modhala Sala including the producers and the directors were present at the function in their uniforms of similar colored T shirts. Actress Tara, Naryana Gowda of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike and Kiran Manthri of Manthri Mall were also present.

The film’s producer partner Mallikarjuna said that the proceeds of the film will be spent on getting clean and healthy water to the residents of Madugiri and Pavagada districts. The people here reportedly have been suffering from a drinking water problem. The water in that area has a high Fluoride Laxity content.

The movie’s crew will introduce a novel scheme, by which people would be able to purchase a 100 rupee coupon; part of which will be used for developing several community activities like providing clean water.

The coupon holders would have the special benefit of watching the movie in any cinema hall in the state.
