Attiqur Rehman claims Meera aborted his child in India
September 9th, 2009 - 2:44 pm ICT by ANIIslamabad, September 9 (ANI): Lollywood star Meera’s alleged husband, Attiqur Rehman, claims that the film actress aborted his child in India, when she went to work in Bollywood.
He told a private TV channel that Meera took that step without informing him.
He even said that Meera could take him to court if his claim was baseless, reports the Daily Times.
According to Rehman, he has spent Rs 60 million on Meera.
Meanwhile, an additional district and sessions judge on Tuesday released three servants of Meera on bail, after they were arrested by the Defence-A police.
The actress had filed an application of habeas corpus, before a bailiff produced the three servants before the court after recovering them from the police station.
The men released on bail are Wahid Zaman, Amjad Ali and Mumtaz Ahmed.
Meera’s counsel claimed that her fourth servant, Shehzad, was missing, and that the police had taken him to some other place.
Investigation Officer Sub-Inspector (SI) Amanullah submitted before the court that Shehzad was neither wanted by the police nor was he arrested. (ANI)
