Attica Rage’s the “Dark City”May 12th, 2009 - 5:27 pm ICT by GD
The latest single, the “Dark City” from the retro-trash band Attica Rage takes them a step closer to global recognition. Now what the band has to do is to get together and plan to get for themselves a guy can mix their songs, the new style, one who is not hung up on those 3 decades old sound and style of mixing.
This latest single of the band “Dark City” has everything right from great tempo, those smooth riffs, a solo that is bound to get your fingers restless and in addition to that is the thunderous rolling of the drums and all this is topped off with a brilliant lyric.
The Attica Rage are a group of superb individuals and as a band they are better and with their great songs and recordings, one can say that in the coming year or two they will be one of the Meathead bands to reckon with. But in order to achieve this in the future, presently the Attica Rage needs to find some good producer and mixer or else they will falter and fade away like all the rest of the UK metal bands, who fail to get signed by the Westcoast that is the American Labels. All through the track the production was a bit on the raw side which led to a little echo of the drum.
As for the Motorhead’s Overkill, it has been done flawless, one cannot find any fault in it and its also sounds a lot clean and clearer than the Dark City.
