Ashton Kutcher wanted to date ‘Friends’ star Jennifer Aniston to win a bet
February 22nd, 2011 - 2:03 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Feb 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Ashton Kutcher revealed on “The Graham Norton Show” that when he was just a teenager, he had his sights set on Jennifer Aniston.
He told the show which will be aired next week on BBC America that he went on a $1,000 bet with a friend that he would go on a date with Aniston at a point in his life. He claimed that he had Aniston’s picture as his screensaver on his computer and was only 17 years when he had the bet with the friend.
The “No Strings Attached” star said that, “I was 17 years old and she was on my screensaver… Five years later I actually met her and I asked Brad Pitt’s permission to ask his wife out on a date. He was so cool and said ‘You go for it’ so I asked her and she turned me down.”
Kutcher is currently married to fellow actress Demi Moore. He told Graham that he was happy with Demi. He admitted that he was proud that they have managed to stay together for almost a decade. Demi and Kucher have been together for eight years now. As he later admitted, that is quite a long time in Hollywood.
The show will be aired on Saturday on BBC America.
