Los Angeles, May 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Hollywood Reporter has carried out a piece that suggests that Ashton Kutcher is going to replace Charlie Sheen on the hit TV show “Two and a Half Men.” Sheen was fired from the show in February after having some nasty public confrontation with the show’s bosses.

The report cited two people who claimed that negotiations have almost been concluded between the parties involved. The report further alleged that the deal is very close to being signed. It however failed to state how much Kutcher is going to be paid if he accepts to be on the show.

One of the sources told the newspaper that Kutcher was considered after Hugh Grant refused to take Sheen’s position. The source said Chuck Lorre, who is the creator of the show, has come up with the script that will introduce Kutcher in the show. The source assured that the episode will be loved by viewers because it is going to be “really funny.”

Another source said Chuck is happy to have someone like Kutcher take the position of Sheen. The future of “Two and a Half Men” was thrown in a state of uncertainty when CBS pulled the plug on the show this year.
