September 4, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Ashton Kutcher is really angry; no one calls him a cheater and goes away scot-free. Recently a tabloid claimed to have caught the actor kissing another woman and went on to say that his marriage was on the rocks.

On September 1, Ashton Kutcher cited the article on his Twitter account and lashed out at the Star Magazine. The magazine specified that the actor was seen kissing a sexy 20-year old woman behind his wife’s back. Ashton Tweeted saying, “I think Star magazine calling me a “cheater”, qualifies as defamation of character, I hope my lawyer agrees.”

Adding to his previous comment, Ashton took a jab at Star magazine saying that they do not get to stand behind the “freedom of press’ argument when they are writing fiction. Demi Moore also backed up her husband and supported him. On September 2, Ashton’s lawyer Marty Singer called the story an “absolute lie”; he also demanded the retraction of the story as well as a public apology.

Singer said that Ashton never visited the restaurant Madeo in the month of July, which is when the Star Magazine reported the cheating to have occurred. Singer threatened legal action only if Star Magazine does not retract the story and issue an apology. When contacted, the magazine decided to stay by its story. It seems that a lengthy battle is on the horizon.
