Ashley Tisdale to be a part of ‘High School Musical’ spin-off

April 2, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Ashley Tisdale has been roped in to star in a spin-off of her own film ‘High School Musical’ produced by the Disney Franchise. She will not just star but also be an executive producer on the project.
She will be reprising her character of Sharpay Evans in the film titled ‘Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures’. An all-new cast will be joining her.
Tisdale will start shooting for the film this summer and the movie will release in 2011. In the movie, Sharpay and her dog Boi reach Broadway and she then has a face off with a rival star.
Gary Marsh, the Chief Creative Officer of Disney Channels Worldwide stated that Tisdale has brought to life one of the most memorable comedic characters seen in years in Sharpay.
He expresses that the movie captures the completely perfect next chapter in Sharpay’s life as she makes an attempt to nurture the humanity within her. That turns out to be a demanding and comical undertaking.
After she starred in ‘High School Musical 3’, Ashley Tisdale was seen in the film Aliens in the Attic. She will also be playing a cheerleader in the upcoming ‘Hellcats’.
