‘Twilight’ star Ashley Greene and her boyfriend of four months Joe Jonas could now be behind bars for a silly mistake. According to statements made by the actress when she was invited on the chat show of George Lopez, the couple was caught with a knife inside her handbag at the Abu Dhabi airport. Ashley Greene explains to George Lopez that they were not even aware of the fact that there was a cheese cutting knife inside a bag that they were carrying while travelling from the Middle East to New York City.

Considering that they were in sensitive territory and security would be at its best, Ashley Greene concedes that they should have taken more care while packing the bags. The couple reportedly passed the first screening but was caught in the very next security check. While explanations did get them out of Abu Dhabi airport and they are now safe at their homes in America, a small mistake on the part of Joe Jonas could actually land the couple in jail! Ashley Greene termed the entire episode at the Abu Dhabi airport as “embarrassing”.

Ashley Greene and Joe Jonas have been dating since four months. Their relationship first hit headlines when it was said that the reason behind Joe Jonas’ ex girlfriend Demi Lovato hitting rehab was his association with Ashley Greene. The actress has been travelling a lot with her boyfriend in the recent past accompanying him to worldwide concert tours. Greene will next be seen onscreen in the upcoming ‘Twilight’ saga ‘Breaking Dawn’.
