Washington, Nov 3 (ANI): Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has made up her mind to hang up her mic and focus on her acting career for the sake of her son, it has emerged.
The 25-year-old singer/actress feels only acting can give her the time to be with the 11-month-old Bronx.
“She’s reading scripts. Acting is her focus now. If she had an album, she’d have to tour and be away from Bronx. She wants consistency,” Contactmusic quoted a source, as saying.
However, Ashlee’s acting plans also got a setback when she was axed from ‘Melrose Place’.
“It was the original plan going into the development of the show. We felt that once the murder mystery, which involved their characters, was resolved, the tone of the show was going to shift and Ashlee’s character would move on,” Todd Slavkin, executive producer of the show said.
