Asha Bhosle celebrates with Li’l Champs

All the oldies, from Helen, Asha Parekh and Madhubala to the new-age heroines like Urmila Matondkar and Kareena Kapoor, are bound by common thread– i.e. the evergreen voice of Asha Bhosle. She has sung for all of them, chartbusters that turned out to be the super hit numbers.
Well, the veteran and versatile singer celebrates’ her birthday today! As she turns 76, Asha Bhosle brings in the celebration with the kids of the singing reality show- Sa Re Ga Ma Pa- Li’l Champs.
Our source from the production house informs, “It’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa- Li’l Champs that will be celebrating Asha Bhosle’s 76th birthday on the sets. The singer will cut the cake with our nanhe participants, hosts and the famous judges.”
“The Friday’s episode will have a theme in which all the participants will have to sing Ashaji’s songs. The shooting of the episode is today, but the telecast will be in the coming weekend,” our source completes the conversation.
So for now, we can just say, Happy Birthday Ashaji!
