Marfa, Texas Sep 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to the reports, renowned actor Randy Quaid and his wife has been reportedly freed from a West Texas jail. The couple had been reportedly arrested on charges of skipping a $10,000 hotel bill. According to Presidio County Sheriff Danny Dominguez Quaid and his wife Eva were released after posting a bail of $20,000 each. The actor was reportedly driven to the bank to extract the amount they were supposed to pay as bail.

The couple were reportedly taken into custody on Thursday afternoon for allegedly skipping a $10,000 hotel bill. Sources revealed that Quaid and his wife were spotted by a deputy as they were driving by a car. The actor and his wife has been charged with burglary, defrauding and inn keeper and conspiracy.

According to the reports, the complaints were reported in early September and arrest warrants were issued against the couple as a part of the investigation process. Sources revealed that the 58 year old actor and his wife Eva have reportedly submitted $20,000 bail. After being released from jail, the Quaids were unavailable for any further comments regarding the issue which landed them into trouble. The representatives for Quaids were not available for any further comments. During the alleged arrest of the couple the authorities have reported that Randy’s wife Eva, reportedly refused to surrender herself to the officers, landing verbal and physical assaults on them was later on dragged to the hood of the car and was taken into custody.

Randy Quaid had won a Golden Globe Award for portraying the character of President Lyndon Johnson in “LBJ: The Early Years”.
