Arnold Schwarzenegger shoots for ‘The Last Stand’

New York, Nov 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is currently filming his first movie since he stepped from political office at the beginning of the year. The action hero tweeted an image from the set to keep his fans informed.

The actor is part of the casts who are currently involved in the project “The Last Stand.” The actor plays the role of a retired LAPD officer living in a town near the Mexican border. According to information about the movie, a captured drug baron will escape from lawful custody and make his way to the Mexican border. After managing to escape from all the security obstacles, Schwarzenegger will be the last hurdle that the drug baron will have to scale to get into Mexico.

The Last Stand will be released in 2013. The famous action hero still has several projects lined up for him. Schwarzenegger made a cameo in the star-studded movie of best pal Sylvester Stallone called “The Expendables.” Reports say Schwarzenegger is billed to take up a major role in the next installment of the movie which is expected to be released in August 2012.

The 64-year-old cannot boast of similar success in his marriage. Recent revelations of a secret child and affair with a former maid have left the actor’s marriage in the balance.
