Following close on his Arnie’s heels is ‘Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn’ - Rhett Butler’s closing line in ‘Gone With The Wind’.

Third place on the list compiled by website myfilms.com, a personalised film and cinema finder from the UK Film Council, is “Beam me up, Scotty” from Star Trek.

Rounding off the top five was Star Wars line “May the force me with you”, and Forrest Gump’s “Life is like a box of chocolates”, which came in fourth and fifth place respectively.

2,000 people were polled as a part of the survey to see which famous phrases people borrow from movies and use them in everyday conversation.

A spokesman for pollster myfilms.com said that the poll showed just how much influence movies have on people.

“It shows the influence films have over people,” The Sun quoted the rep, as saying.

The list for the top five movie lines we use most is:

1. ‘I’ll be back’ - Arnold Schwarzeneggar in ‘Terminator’

2. ‘Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn’ - Rhett Butler in ‘Gone With The Wind’

3. ‘Beam me up, Scotty’ - Star Trek

4. ‘May the force me with you’ - Star Trek

5. ‘Life is like a box of chocolates’ - Forrest Gump (ANI)
