Arnie may be back for very small cameo in Terminator 4December 7th, 2007 - 3:57 pm ICT by admin
Melbourne, Dec 7 (ANI): Arnold Schwarzeneggar may be back for the next Terminator sequel, say producers.
The news was revealed when Derek Anderson, Victor Kubicek and Moritz Borman were interviewed by Entertainment Weekly.
Kubicek told EW that that the Terminator may himself be back for titled “Terminator Salvation - The Future Begins”.
“He may make a cameo,” Moviehole quoted him, as telling EW.
However Anderson added that if he does agree to be part of the movie, Arnies role would only be a cameo, and a very small one at that.
“It still hasn’t been determined, but if he does, it would be a very small cameo,” he said.
Current Batman Christian Bale has been picked to play Connor, who will be in this 30s, in the fourth instalment of the franchise.
McG is directing the project, with the pic scheduled to start production in Budapest in April next year.
It is scheduled to hit screens in summer 2009/
Warners picked up North American distribution rights to “Terminator Salvation” in October. International rights are still open; Sony has first rights to those.
The pic is being produced by the privately funded Halcyon along with former Intermedia CEO Borman; the two teamed up to acquire the rights to the franchise from ex-Carolco partners Andy Vajna and Mario Kassar.
Producers intend the project to be the first in a trilogy reinventing the franchise. (ANI)
