Oct 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The winner of the 2010 season for ‘China’s Got Talent’ lost his arms in an accident when he was only ten years old, but as you can see in the video embedded below, he did not let this slow him down. He won the hearts of the audience and judges as well while performing his own version of the soulful love song by James Blunt entitled “You’re Beautiful” while a packed out audience at Shanghai Stadium screamed in approval.

He was praised by all three of the judges for his determination and his talent. Twenty three year old Liu Wei from Beijing showed his humorous side when the judges told him to keep pursuing his dreams. “I will try, “ he said, adding,” At Least I have a pair of perfect legs!”

He lost both arms after an electrical accident which occurred when he was playing hide and go seek. He has learned to use his feet for everything from brushing his teeth to computers. He began to pursue a career in music at the age of 18.
