67357518-arlo-guthrieNov 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City witnessed the performance of the legendary folk singer Arlo Guthrie yesterday morning. It has been many days since this legendary folk singer did not perform for such a big event until yesterday.

The singer was extremely excited about his performance and said that he participated in this event after several years, and therefore it was fun. The last time he performed was at Pittsfield. Needless to say that he performed his, and many more people’s Thanks Giving Favorite “Alice’s Restaurant”. The singer was regarded as one of the main attractions of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. However, it was not an unpredictable appearance of this veteran singer. He revealed in his dedicated website earlier this month, that he is planing to perform in this particular holiday celebration. He wrote that for whatever insane reasons, he and the holiday are glued together. For the singer, this combination is one of the unintentional accidents of the nature. However, getting stuck to a holiday can be worse than thanks giving. On that note, he is pretty thankful.

The singer’s performance was seen by more than 3.5 million spectators in New York City. They went crazy as Arlo Guthrie started his two most popular numbers “Alice’s Restaurant” and “The Motorcycle Song”. He said that it is most important in the world to be thankful for being oneself. That means that no one else has to be like him. The singer loves and accepts himself with all his faults and craziness and accepts other people for who they are. He further stated that although there are more crazy people around, he loves them all, as they love being themselves and are willing to be what they are. The parade was celebrated on the streets of New York and was more pumped up with the appearance of Arlo Guthrie.
