Arjun Steps Into Nagarjuna’s Shoes For ‘Mankatha’

‘Mankatha’ is essentially an action film with bits of comedy in between, reports director Venkat Prabhu. And though the lead role in the film has been offered to Ajith Kumar, the character of Nagarjuna in ‘Mankatha’ was also important to the progress in the storyline of the upcoming film. But now it looks like Nagarjuna will no longer have to shoot for ‘Mankatha’, his replacement in Arjun having been announced. The crew of the upcoming Tamil flick did not come up with any official explanation as to why Nagarjuna chose to move out of the project all of a sudden, but Arjun’s entry into the ‘Mankatha’ team has been confirmed.
Playing Arjun’s love interest in ‘Mankatha’ is actress Sneha. The film also stars Trisha Krishnan and Lakshmi Rai whose roles are more of glamor than of substance.
