Washington, Jan 7 (ANI): Grammy Award-winning singer Aretha Franklin has revealed that the undisclosed ailment that forced her to have surgery in Detroit has been resolved.
However, she has not revealed what the problem was.
The Queen of Soul said that she started to worry after experiencing a sharp pain in her side during a gig in Toronto last year.
Franklin told Jet magazine that she first thought the problem stemmed from a colonoscopy, but later had doctors run tests.
However, she wouldn’t discuss rumours she was treated for pancreatic cancer, reports CBS News.
She said: “I don’t have to talk about my health with anybody other than my doctors.” But, she added, “The problem has been resolved.” (ANI)
