Aretha Franklin Doing Well, Likely To Be Released From Hospital

Dec 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Legendary singer Aretha Franklin who of late has been suffering from pancreatic cancer is reportedly doing well. This is the latest statement that her doctors have released. According to a source, doctors are planning to release Aretha Franklin this weekend itself. They have pronounced that the patient is doing better than what they expected her to do. This has undoubtedly come across as a good news for all the Aretha Franklin fans who are praying hard for her speedy recovery.
Earlier when the 68-year-old singer was diagnosed with the fatal disease of cancer which has affected her pancreas, doctors had declared that the singer might not live for long. However, in recent times, her relatives have said that the singer is doing fine and will be released soon. According to a source close to the singer, her cousin Brenda Corbett has said that her sister is responding well to the treatment and that she has a long life to live. She added that as soon as Aretha Franklin attains a further better state in terms of her health she will be soon be seen getting involved in her singing ventures. Brenda Corbett has added that her cousin will be taking part in concerts in late spring or sometime in early summer.
With the doctors announcing that her health improved, Aretha Franklin herself has promised her fans that she will be making a comeback with a tour in 2011. Last week, the singer had to undergo a surgery, the results of which has not been made public. People close to her have reportedly said that the singer is replete with high spirits.
