Are Lauren Alaina & Scotty McCreery dating each other?
May 26th, 2011 - 11:29 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, May 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Fans who watched the finals of the just-ended “American Idol” show were left wondering if there was a love interest between Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina. When the final winner was announced, 16-year-old Lauren went to Scotty and kissed him.
The act ignited rumors that the two are dating. When the question was put to Scotty by the press, he sounded vague but he was clear enough to suggest that there is no love interest between the two. He said that, “Everybody keeps asking me about the smooch. She told me she was gonna do that before the show. She’s a sweetheart.”
Lauren was not sure if there was anything between the two. With Scotty walking beside her as they walked past the press line after the finals, Lauren asked him to answer the press when she was asked if there was a love spark between them.
The final show of the highly popular American Idol show was held on Wednesday. Scotty won the award with Lauren coming second. Lauren and Scotty received more than 700 million public votes during the show.
Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and regular Randy Jackson were the judges for the show this season.
