AR Rahman on winning two Grammys: “This is insane”

London, Feb 1 (ANI): Indian composer AR Rahman couldn’t ask for more - the Mozart of Madras scooped two awards at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony.
Rahman landed awards for best film song and best soundtrack, both compositions for the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire, reports The BBC.
“This is insane, god is great again,” Rahman said as he accepted as he accepted his award.
Last year, the singer/musician had won two Oscars, a Bafta and a Golden Globe for his soundtrack to Millionaire.
His “Jai Ho” song in the film also won in the best motion picture song. The song was sung by Sukhvinder Singh, Mahalaxmi Iyer, Vijay Prakash along with Rahman and Shah. (ANI)
