A.R. Rahman is not stepping out of my film- Gowtham

With his previous film “Vaaranam Aayiram’ based on Tom Hanks starrer “Forrest Gump’ turning to be a blockbuster, he has almost completed shooting for his forthcoming flick “Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’ starring Silambarasan and Trisha in lead roles. Academy Award Winner A.R. Rahman has scored music for the film and recently there were rumours about him backing off from the project.
Gowtham Menon clarifies, “A.R. Rahman hadn’t come up with any such issues and he was quite disappointed going through the rumours. He has composed 5 fantastic songs with different genres and I have completed filming 3 of them at Malta Islands. Once, the shooting is done; Rahman will be kick-starting with background score”
Gowtham Menon is producing the film, he has decided to release the film by Diwali.- Sampurn Media
