Sep 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The outcome of the famous American beauty pageant, “America’s Perfect Teen”, did not seem to have impressed too many contestants and their parents, when the 16 years old British girl, Anysha Panesar, was crowned as the winner. Anysha Panesar, who hails from the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales, however believes that the wrathful reaction of the people is not due to her nationality, but rather a simple reflex reaction as a result of the inevitable jealousy due to their defeat in the pageant.

Things were not at all planned for this 16 years old. Anysha Panesar decided to take part in this competition, while she went for a holiday trip to Florida with her parents. Her whims and impulsive desire to participate in this pageant as an international contestant, changed her life overnight. Anysha Panesar, who out shined, thirty other American participants, was overwhelmed to have won not only the pageant but also a price money of $2,000 (1,200) cash and an $18,000 (11,500) scholarship for her further education as a television broad caster.

Although her victory might have came as a complete surprise in the America’s Perfect Teen Pageant, this was not the first time that Anysha Panesar bagged the first price in a beauty competition. A clothes show catwalk competition in Birmingham, gave her the first break as a beauty queen. She believes that she has the natural ability to subdue all other contestant, with her spark and vivacious nature.

Anysha Panesar, will now be seen in an American talk-show, where she would share her experiences in the pageant. Her Mother, Caroline, seems to be extremely proud of her, and believes strongly in her daughter’s dream.
